Hello! I'm Douglas Rojas Vargas, originally from Bolivia. I began my career with a focus on the industrial sector, as I studied Mechatronics Engineering but after completing my project degree, I realized my true passion lay in coding. This realization led me to shift my career towards software development. I embarked on a journey of self-improvement by taking multiple online courses to enhance my programming skills, transitioning from an embedded and control programming background to a more commercial-oriented skill set.

I joined Assuresoft through a bootcamp, where I quickly demonstrated my capabilities by achieving high scores on my initial evaluations, which led to an early promotion. My journey in tech has been marked by continuous learning and growth.

I'm particularly passionate about machine learning and have had the opportunity to share my knowledge by giving talks to young students from various universities. These talks were coordinated between Assuresoft and the local municipality, allowing me to inspire and educate the next generation of tech enthusiasts.

I enjoy coding, outdoor sports, board games, and engaging in thoughtful discussions about politics and philosophy. I'm also dedicated to fitness, training regularly and playing soccer, which helps me maintain a balanced lifestyle.
